Following the success of Grand Designs Birmingham 2018 ‘Walk in Wardrobes’ celebrates another turning point with their biggest single wardrobe exhibit to date. The stunning single-room installation stole the show with its signature centre bespoke island with a clear glass illuminated top. This, coupled with their usual array of clever storage solutions and clear glass cluster ball chandelier really
added the ‘wow’ factor to the exhibit. Steven Tombs, founder and director said,
“The response to the stand was fantastic! Customers were delighted to be able to see our products firsthand and to interact with the designs. The island cabinet, in particular, gave context to the space so our clients could easily imagine the walk-in wardrobe of their dreams. Stimulating conversations were ignited about related projects throughout the week.
Enquiries this year have ranged from high-end domestic new build projects to boutique commercial hotels with size and specifications varying from small single rooms to larger multiple full ‘Walk in Wardrobe’ island unit designs. The island unit on show this year incorporated seating at each end of the main cabinet which held secret storage drawers to the delight of our visitors!
We would like to thank all those who supported us and expressed genuine interest in the show. We are in the process of contacting all those who wish to schedule appointments.
Our company, ‘Walk in Wardrobes’, has innovative ideas emerging all the time. We are now looking at producing a bigger and better installation of wardrobes for next year’s show based on ideas gathered and developed in-house and feedback from you our customers. Thank you again for your support and interest.” Stephen Tombs
